What Is a Private Day Tour of Nikko Like? A Licensed Guide's Report

The weather was fairly good, and although Mount Nantai was covered in clouds and not visible, there were no other issues with sightseeing, and the guests enjoyed the planned course. At their request, we hired a taxi for three hours at Tobu Nikko Station and visited Lake Chuzenji, Kegon Falls, and Kanmangafuchi Abyss. After getting off at Shinkyo Bridge, we had lunch, walked around the three shrines and temples, rested at Hongu Cafe, bought souvenirs, and walked back to the station. There was almost no water flowing down from the lake at Kegon Falls, which made it rather quiet, but the guests were amazed by the grandeur of the scenery. At Kanmangafuchi Abyss, they were delighted to see the beautiful gorge and took quite a lot of photos.
