What Is a Private Walking Tour of Tokyo's Historic East Side Like? A Licensed Guide's Report
Following the guest's advance request, I focused the tour on the historic areas on the east side of Tokyo. Although it was the guest's first visit to Japan, they had studied Japanese history and culture, and listened to my explanations with great enthusiasm. The guest also asked so many questions that we did not have quite enough time to fully explore Ueno as originally planned. Since the guest had requested udon for lunch, I took them to a restaurant in Asakusa, and they were delighted, saying it was very delicious. Overall, I believe the guest was satisfied with the tour.

Pleasant Intro to Tokyo
Nobu was an experienced and informative guide. It was a great introduction to Tokyo – a busy and vastly interesting city. We learned about Japanese history and toured some of the major sites including the Imperial gardens, a Buddhist temple, a Shinto shrine, and the bustling Shibuya Crossing. Nobu helped us get familiar with the subway system and explained some of Japanese cuisine. We greatly enjoyed our tour and recommend it to others!
