What's a Private Full-Day Kyoto World Heritage Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests were a cheerful and refined group visiting from North America. They had arrived in Kyoto from Tokyo the day before and were experiencing Japan for the first time. On this private full-day tour, we visited three of Kyoto's most popular World Heritage sites, along with Kifune Shrine surrounded by fresh green foliage. Blessed with fine weather, the guests enjoyed the refreshing greenery and happily took photos at each stop, taking in the beautiful scenery. Since they planned to stay in Japan for a few more days, I shared information about other sightseeing spots in Kyoto, as well as candidate destinations such as Nara, Hiroshima, Hakone, and Nikko.

Our guide, Sam, was very knowledgeable about the are and guided us to several temples using public transportation. We stopped for a traditional Japanese lunch and saw some of the specialty wood carvings from the area.
