What's a Private Day Tour of Nagoya Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Nagoya Castle, Toyota Museum, and Tokugawaen

The guest was a visitor from North America. The guest had a strong interest in Japanese history. While touring Nagoya Castle, the guest asked about the relationship between the shogun and the emperor, and I provided a detailed explanation. At the Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology, the guest took great interest in Sakichi Toyoda, the founder who established the automatic loom business amid Japan's rapid modernization following the Meiji Restoration, and I gave related explanations. On that day, a trial run of an admission reservation system was being conducted for the Honmaru Palace at Nagoya Castle, and thanks to an advance reservation we were able to enter with no waiting time, which the guest greatly appreciated. At the third site, Tokugawaen, the guest enjoyed the beauty of the Japanese garden and the atmosphere of the grounds. While traveling by subway and taxi, the guest also enjoyed conversations about various aspects of Japan.
