Hello! This is Keiko. I was born and raised in Osaka. I have lived in the US for two years when I was a student. Before I became a tour guide, I worked for a foreign company as an administrative support. After I got married and had children, I worked for a travel agency and did travel arrangements for foreign visitors and that’s where I learned there was a job as a tour guide. I enjoy talking with and welcoming people from foreign countries. Now there are so many people visiting Japan, which is so different from when I was a student about 30 years ago. I was in a English Guide Club at that time but it’s so difficult to find foreigners. Now there are so many people interested in Japan, Japanese food and culture. I am very happy to have an opportunity to show you around and introduce our country and culture. I am looking forward to meeting you. I like tea ceremony, calligraphy and Japanese garden.
